Our Mental Wellness Approach
Who I Work With
I primarily work with adult men, including high-performing professionals and fathers, who are dealing with anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, emotional reactivity, relationship conflict, or the downstream impact of trauma.
Presenting Concerns I Commonly Treat
Anxiety disorders and chronic stress, depression and low motivation, trauma-related symptoms, anger and irritability, relationship strain, insomnia tied to stress, major life transitions.
Approach and Modalities
Therapy is trauma-informed and skills-forward. Methods may include EMDR, CBT-informed strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and relational work, chosen collaboratively based on goals and clinical need rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
Session Structure
Individual psychotherapy sessions are $160 per session ($180 after 4/1/26). Session frequency is typically weekly or biweekly based on acuity, goals, and scheduling fit.
We do not accept insurance, but can provide superbills for OON reimbursement.
Licensure and Location Requirements
Therapy is offered via telehealth statewide in Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Virginia, and in person in Ohio. Clients must be physically located in the state(s) where I am licensed at the time of each session.
Not a Fit / Higher Level of Care
f you are experiencing active suicidal intent, recent self-harm behavior, uncontrolled substance withdrawal, or need a higher level of care than outpatient therapy, I will help you identify appropriate crisis or specialty resources.
For Referring Providers
Referrals can be initiated through the consultation form or by emailing JR@TheRossWellnessGroup.org.
